Many buses across the region now use low-floor, easy access buses that can take wheelchairs. The following lists are intended as a guide to which routes usually see these buses.
Please note that this does not guarantee that every vehicle used will be low-floor, as there may be occasions when the scheduled vehicle is not available and an alternative vehicle has to be used.
This list only covers routes that are featured in the Timetables section of this website. It does not cover routes running outside York and North Yorkshire, school contract services (whether they are open to the public or not), or services to special events such as York Races.

- 80 and 89 services use low-floor buses
Arriva North East
- All services in and through Richmond and Catterick usually use low-floor buses
- 5A, 91, 92, 93, 94 and 95 usually use low-floor buses
- X5, 29 (to Stokesley), 72 and 81 sometimes use low-floor buses
- 5 (to Brotton only), X60 and X61 do not usually use low-floor buses
